Optimized Graphic Presets for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 by OVNI.
Features:
– Enhanced performance and/or improved visual quality.
– Additional options in the advanced graphics menu.
– “Instant boost” hotkeys for temporary performance improvements in demanding areas.
Compatibility:
– Requires game version 1.3.1 or newer.
– Incompatible with mods that modify “Graphic Settings” or “Advanced Graphics Settings” menus.
Installation / Update:
– If you have a version older than v3.x.x, remove it first (refer to the removal section). This is a one-time step and not required for every update.
– Download the “kcd_optimized_graphic_presets” file and extract its contents to the game’s root folder (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance2). Overwrite files if prompted; this only affects previous versions of the mod.
– Open the graphics settings menu and apply the new profiles.
Known Bugs / Limitations:
– Pressing Esc in the basic graphics menu applies settings.
– Gamma adjustments are ignored; use the r_gamma console command as a workaround.
– The basic graphics menu does not support setting texture quality to low. Use the advanced graphics menu for this adjustment.
Removal:
– Download the ‘ogp_uninstall.bat’ file from the optional files section.
– Run it from the game’s root folder (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance2).
Hotkeys:
– D: Ensure the game runs in native fullscreen mode.
– Numpad 0: Disable instant boost.
– Numpad 1: Enable instant boost.
